Founder | CEO Founder at LetsBab
Culminating my experience in luxury fashion at the C-Suite level combined with the disruption surrounding distribution and marketing, the idea of LetsBab was born.
LetsBab is a digital mall where you can create shoppable boards and earn cash for sharing them. Our mission is to change the way Gen Z and millennials shop and share online with friends by taking a social-first approach to ecommerce. We are building a dedicated social app for discovering, sharing, and buying products - A digital recreation of the hang-out days in the mall where friends would meet up and be influenced by each others taste.
Users can create their shoppable board from hundreds of partner brands, share with their community, and get paid each time someone purchases and item from the board. Anyone can do it.

Sales & Merchandising at Donna Karan
Jan 1998 - Jan 2000
As a Sales and Merchandising associate my primary role was twofold: driving sales and managing the performance of the product. On the sales side, I worked closely with both our retail partners and franchisees to ensure they bought the collection to suit their market. This involved understanding customer needs, providing tailored advice, and showcasing our latest collections. I leveraged my detailed knowledge of the brand to optimize sales strategies, execute successful promotion plans, and increase our market share.
In terms of merchandising, my core responsibility lay in leveraging data to enhance our merchandising efforts. Analyse sales data, and market trends to gain a deep understanding of what products are performing well and why. These insights were crucial in determining what we put on our store floors.
Ultimately, my job was to drive the commercial aspects of the business.Just in

Distribution Sales Assistant at CNN
Apr 1995 - Nov 1997
As the assistant to the Business Development Managers at CNN International for Africa and SE Asia, my ability to speak Hindi was a critical requirement of this role. This was particularly important for securing distribution partnerships in India, one of the key markets in the region.
In addition to my Hindi language skills, I provided administrative and operational support to the team, identified new business opportunities and revenue growth strategies, built and maintained relationships with key stakeholders, and supported the Manager in securing distribution of the network in the regions through partnerships with governments, hotels, and other key distribution channels.
